Few people know what it’s like

work hard
You give it all day long and it’s a slog,
don’t get paid diddly and it’s bloody 2015!
struggling to just make ends meet,
you also try to keep your colleagues level headed,
just so they don’t leave us,
sometimes they make the cut,
other times they miss out,
‘I plan on getting this one right’, one guy said
‘We are with you on this’, we bellow
but he flunks it and drops out,
it’s the hardest grind of all,
what fortitude does it take
to endure so much failure and tincy success?
‘It’s just a game’ one fella professed
‘A game’! I protested, what a sick prick
‘Yeh its called virtual golf ‘ he said.
He didn’t have any partners..worth mentioning.

  1. You hid that ending well!

  2. It’s 2 hours long! I shall watch it later. Although I find Christopher Hitchens (in particular) an entertaining speaker, I don’t like the way he thinks that clever cynicism replaces logic. They’re both inclined to put up too many straw men to knock down. I shall attempt to watch it, but two hours could become annoyingly facile!

  3. I agree, its obtusley long. I saw the first 30 minutes and got over-excited. Forget I mentioned it.
