Kundalini Yoga For Beginners – Nirvair Singh Khalsa

I have been doing yoga since 2003. It has had an immense impact on not only my physical health, but also my emotional and spiritual well being. The main reason I came to yoga was because of the ingenious teachings of this man, Nirvair Singh Khalsa who released the video series called Kundalini Yoga For Beginners.

I had the good fortune to buy one of Nirvair’s videos in Australia. I quickly procured the whole set and never looked back. In fact I am so impressed by the series I have transcribed nearly everything Nirvair said in the series including a detailed description of each exercise. In case the videos ever become unplayable I will have a record of this magnum opus of yoga teaching, so it can stay in my family for generations to come. I see the whole series as more a gift of wisdom than I do as a simple series of exercises.

I haven’t met Nirvair in person, but I have visited him about 4 times a week through these videos for the last 10 years. I feel I almost know him because I see him so often on my TV. Anyone who might feel they are in a spiritual,  physical or emotional rut in their lives, I cannot recommend more highly Nirvair Singh Khalsa’s videos. It could be one of the greatest decisions you ever made. I know it has been a life changing decision for me.

I am in no way affiliated with Nirvair’s ventures  except to say I hope more people get hooked onto the enjoyable and relaxing benefits of yoga to find that sense of calm and peace within.

To quote Nirvair:

‘Students of this yoga, enjoy a deep sense of relaxation they get over a period of time. They learn to relax quickly. The other main compliment from students is how their backs feel better. Students gain heightened body awareness. How you sit, how you walk, your posture, the chair you sit in – all these things contribute to what shape your back is in. The glandular system will be well affected. You’ll find your digestion is better. You’ll find you have a more youthful appearance and gain a deep sense of calm over a period of time. You’ll gain flexibility, strength and immune system health.’
